Stay Classy With Polo T-Shirts

Nail the fit!

In any outfit, the most important element to watch for is its fit! Yes, if it’s well fitted, it’s bound to look good. The sleeves should just hit the mid bicep and the length should end halfway down the trouser fly, depends on your height too. It shouldn’t be too tight or too loose. Make sure to take a quick look at the buttons and the collars too.

Think in Black!

Black never goes out of fashion. Consider investing in a classic black polo t-shirt. Team it up with blue ripped denims and espadrilles. Accessorize with multiple wrap leather bracelets to complete the classy look. Be ready to turn heads with it!

The serious polo!

Thinking about your Friday outfit at the office? Try shades like navy blue, white or gray. Match them with cropped trousers in complimentary colors and your favorite sneakers. Stripped polo tees can also be considered. Gel up your hair to finish the neat look.

High by the beach!

Though a polo is mainly worn with trousers and denims, think of wearing it with shorts on a beach holiday! Peppy hues like red, pink, orange and yellow can be your perfect choice. Throw some nice espadrilles or flip flops and take a hat along with you to pull off that beach look.

Let the style find you!

Experiment with color block tees and polka dots. Pair them with light colored trousers like beige or white. Don’t go daring with some basics like not to wear an undershirt with it, not to pop your collar and avoid unbuttoning all the buttons. Get the basics correct and stay in vogue!

Embroidered Denims

  • Keep it safe from being stretched: Even if there is a little bit of carelessness in handling new and well fitting jeans, it can cause the wear and tear of your brand new jeans due to overstretching. Thus, care should be taken to keep the fabric as stable as possible so as to avoid puckering of the fabric. Although the denim material is known for its durability, still cutaway stabilizers should be used to keep the stitches crisp to avoid it from getting wrinkled.
  • Choose your designs wisely: Since the denim is a tough material, designs with large embroideries are preferred on it rather than the ones which are so fragile that they seem to get lost in the fabric. One could also try doing appliqué work on them since the sturdy material of the denim is best suited for heavy embroidery appliqué work.
  • Contrast the designs with the background: In order to avoid making the denim look monotonous, you can use the designs in contrast to the colour of the denim. Care should be taken not to wash it too regularly otherwise the design might fade away. Designs make with dark colour threads lasts longer, thus they are preferred over the lighter shades.
  • Choose the correct thread type: Threads should be chosen in such a way that their colour stays bright and radiant even after several washes. Polyester threads mixed with rayon have the strength as well the colour durability and are hence used for making designs.
  • Recycle and reuse: Since denim is a very durable fabric you might get bored of wearing the same jeans as it might not get torn. In these situations, all you can do is to recycle it and reuse it, maybe as a cushion cover or as a traditional bag and make customised embroidery on them.

Jeans Designed For Taller Girls

Finding a pair of stylish jeans can become a daunting task for you if you are tall. Thus, if your stars are favouring you right and you have managed to find a pair of jeans which fits your best, consider it to be your most prized possession in your life.

Here is a compiled list of all the reasons why jeans meant for tall girls are designed a little differently.

  • Inseam shorter in length: Inseam is a technical term used to describe the length of the pants in inches. Commonly jeans makers choose 34 to be ideal inseam. However, jeans with an inseam of 37 are also available in some shades and styles but you would have lesser options to choose from. The inseam of 37 works best for girls having a height of 5.8 to 6 feet.
  • Lighter shades are only available: Most pairs of jeans with longer inseam are manufactured in lighter shades of colour because lighter shades are believed to accentuate the volume of the lower half of your body. This works best for girls who have a slimmer physique, camouflaging their height to make them look even taller.
  • Shorter hemline reaching till the ankle: Jeans meant for taller ladies have hemline reaching their ankle. However, this kind of jeans is preferred as it boasts up your curves making you look all slim and trim due to the tapering near the ankle of your legs.
  • Most of them are skinny in nature: Most of the jeans available for tall girls are skinny. These types of jeans are considered to be ideal for tall girls having an average height of around 6 feet, which enhance the look of all feminine features in their body. Having an inseam of 38, they fit you tightly on the legs, making your limbs look thinner.
  • Size of the waist: Care should be taken to find a pair of jeans which fits right on your waist; otherwise, it can give you a disproportional look.

Street Fashion for Teen

Street style is all about dressing comfortably but stylish. You will often see major movie stars wearing torn jeans with flat ankle boots with a long jersey covering their t-shirts. This is simple and easy to walk in without getting your heels caught in a gutter.

Another stylish way to wear street fashion is by wearing a mini skirt, a t-shirt and a coat that contrasts the colour of the mini skirt and reaches further down your legs. A pair of black lace-up boots will top up the whole street style look.

You can achieve the street style look by wearing a pair of boot leg jeans with copper coloured boots. Your top can be loose fitted with a loose fitted jacket over it.

An interesting way to wear this style is by wearing a wool sweater tucked into a formal skirt (white usually looks good) and a pair of black corset heels. The black element in the outfit usually ties the look together and shows that what you are wearing belongs on the streets of New York.

You can try to be bold by wearing a poncho with the neutral colour of your choice. The poncho can be long enough to where your knees reach. Match the look with a pair of 7/8 length trousers in the same colour range as the poncho. Wear a pair of high heeled sandals so that you won’t make the look appear heavy.

If you are feeling too cold for any of these examples then you can try wearing a heavier style. A fur jacket (faux of course) is the starting point. Wear a pair of flared trousers and an ankle boot. It doesn’t scream street like the other looks but it is categorised as this style. If you are not comfortable with the faux jacket, go with a contrasting jacket. Leather works great for street style.

Make Nail Polish Last Longer

Many times women have to do household works such as washing dishes or cleaning the apartment. Without using gloves, this type of home works can fully destroy your manicures. The water and soap can dry out the manicure, even make it less shiny and likely chip. Give yourself a sturdy pair of gloves to save your nails from danger. Smudges and ding at dry time ruin all the hard work you just put into your at home manicure.

A better way to tell if your nails are dry is to make your nails face each other, then slowly touch them together. If you pull them apart, and they feel little tacky, your nails still want time to try. If they don’t stick to each other at all, you are ready to go forward. If you are using a top coat without sealing the edges of your nails, that means you are going wrong. The ages of your nails take the brunt of the polish beating, so you have to make it sure that you are protecting it with a good cover of clear polish. On the other side, healthy nails also play a vital part. You have to keep you nails healthy for a long lasting finish. Fix your all nail problems like ridges, peeling, breakage and you will keep your manicure lasting longer for sure. Find out a good ridge filler or nail strengthener based on what you need to fix. After that insert them into your beauty routine to keep your nails in beautiful shape all the time.

We all know that it can be tempting to pack on the polish, but too much thick nail polish can tend to peel off, making the life of your nail manicure incredibly shorter. You should go for thinner strokes, getting just enough polish on the brush that you do not overload your beautiful nails. One most important thing you need to remember that when you are filing each nail. It does not matter which direction, but you have to make it sure that you are filing every nail either to the left or the right, never back and forth, because alternative directions weaken the nails, making it weaker to break and peeling.

You have to keep a safe distance from sanitizer. The alcohol in hand sanitization can dry out your nail polish and your nails also. It also makes them dull and ready to chip. You should go from a mild hand soap and warm water when possible for you. Many times, the nail expert in salon soak our nails in water, It causes the nail to absorb water, expanding their natural; shape. After polishing your nails, the water evaporates and your nails contract, which causes the nail polish to chip and crack.

Getting It Right With Leather Jacket

Avoid buying online- you don’t get to test your jacket if you make your purchase online, and leather jackets are good looking only if they are an exact size and well-fitting to the body (They should feel like an extension of your body). You can only choose to buy online if you can be allowed to return it’s not well fitting.

Know your style- there are different styles of leather jackets and they certainly won’t look good on all. These styles include the classic biker jacket, the motor cross or cafe racer (this has fewer zips and it’s figure hugging), military jackets (there are two basic types, the A-2 bomber and B-2 shearling made for pilots to keep them warm thousands of feet high up), fencing jacket.

Determine the animal skin you want- not all leathers are made from cow skin. There are other types of animal skin such as bovine (this is usually stiff and doesn’t wear in), calfskin (it’s softer and wears easily), goatskin (it’s supple, durable and water resistant), sheepskin (this is lighter, isn’t tough), lambskin (soft and light), pigskin (this is soft and pliable). The type of animal skin determines the durability of the jacket. For example for something light then go for the sheepskin or lambskin.

Know the leather type- there are varying types of leather to choose from. When going to buy a leather jacket, pay close attention to the type of leather you are choosing from, these leather types are varying based on the cuts.

Full grain leather- this type is uncut and is used in its full texture. It makes use of the entire layer of animal skin. It is very thick and stiff, and it ages in a unique and beautiful way.

Top layer grain- this is just the outer layer. The inner layers are removed. Its flexible and thin. It usually maintains the same look throughout its life.

Corrected grain- this is a type of leather to run away from. It is artificial and not real at all.

Watch out for loose ends- check that the I’s are dotted and the T’s crossed.

Wear A Bodycon Dress

You need to consider a number of tips for you to pull off a great look. These tips include:

Be cautious of VPL: Due to the figure-hugging nature of the outfit, it’s possible to have a visible panty line (VPL). Regardless of how beautiful the dress is there is no way that you will look beautiful when people can see your underwear lines. Experts recommend that you wear little shorts that will suck you in thus preventing people from seeing what you are wearing inside. If you are confident enough you can avoid wearing underwear altogether.

Take advantage of the stripes: If you are a big girl and not sure how you will look in a bodycon you should take advantage of stripes. To create a slimming look you should avoid thick stripes. To create an illusion of a smaller waist you should go for an outfit with black or navy panel sides. You should also consider wearing an all black dress that will give you a slimmer figure.

Wear the right shoe: The cool thing about the outfit is that you can wear it with different types of shoes. If you are tall and looking to dress down for daywear, you should wear flats or sandals. If you are short you should wear shoes with a stiletto heel especially when going out for an evening. You can also wear thigh high boots for a sexy, sensual look. When wearing thigh high boots, ensure that the outfit is not too long thus giving you a dorky look.

Go for thicker fabrics: While the outfits are made from different materials, you should avoid those made from extremely thin fabrics. Such outfits are not only at the risk of getting torn, they also put you at the risk of revealing too much. To be on the safe side you should go for outfits made from thicker fabrics.

Nail the Minimalist Look

Suit up

One of the staples of minimalism is the crisp, white, cotton shirt, and every man is bound to own at least one. While playing with different shades of white, keep tonality in mind to avoid looking washed out. For a perfect summer look, pair a white t-shirt with a cream blazer and a navy trouser. Skip the belt and pick a pair of brown shoes instead of black.

Subtle variations in tonality also make a great minimal outfit. Pull a chic all-grey look with a mid-tone blazer, a darker pair of chinos, and a light grey tee, and take it further by as adding matching accessories and accents.

Tee off

The one item that every man on this planet owns is a T-shirt. And it makes such an ideal minimalist look when paired with tailored trousers. Monochrome is the easiest way to do minimalism: a white tee over black or other dark coloured trousers makes a neat, clutter-free and elegant minimalist look that’s also really stylish in an understated sort of way.

Hear-to-toe neutrals are quite the fashion rage these days, so don’t be afraid to keep your footwear and accessories in the same colour as the outfit instead of opting for a contrast hue.

Rock it

If you’re doing a traditional rock look, aim to keep it subtle and refined. Jackets should be clean and devoid of patches or embellishments, t-shirts should be plain and neat, preferably white, and the jeans should be neat too. To add your own touch to the outfit, skip the leather boots and go for a pair of low top white trainers.

While going all-black is the way to do rock chic, the ideal way to break the monotony of the look is by adding another neutral colour to the mix-like a an over shirt or a pair of boots.

Asian twist

Relaxed and cool silhouettes are a key component in minimalism, and what better way than Japan’s flowy cuts, comfy cottons, and fine linens? Cool fabrics and stylish silhouettes come together to make a minimalist look perfect for summer.

Mandarin collars and wide sleeves make Japanese shirts so great for the warmer season, and in winters, Japan’s selvedge denims are a great combination with a coat and t-shirt, paired with boots.

Manage Wardrobe Perfectly

Know Your Style

It is extremely important to know what style you are comfortable in. Do you layer your clothes or wear a lot of jewellery. Are you a party person who likes getting dressed up and going out with perfect hair and make-up or do you prefer bold colors over the neutral ones. The later process depends on knowing what you like and what you don’t for your sake and not fashions.

Know Your Lifestyle

If you know what your lifestyle is like then it becomes easier to know what clothes you are going to use and need to buy. So if it is something I have to do then: most of the week I need formals for work both ethnic and western, then for the weekends I need casuals and party clothes which can include fancy places or regular hangouts. This means in need pants, shirts, kurtis, formal skirts and dresses, jeans, casual clothing and few fancy pieces. Heels are optional. I need to buy jewellery as well.

The Capsule Wardrobe

A capsule wardrobe is basically a setting where you put together outfits and then hang or stack them accordingly. So your formals can have one section, then your casuals, then your party wear and then your nightwear. So if you have a uniform like a combination of jeans, t-shirt and flats, it is easier to find this combination in this case. Even with footwear, you can section them the same way. With this can have more possible outfits than you think as you mix and match. You can do this with your jewellery a well. Combining statement pieces in one place, earrings in one or you can even do them as per the outfit you wear them with so that when you buy jewellery you have a fair idea of what you own and how they work.

Detox

When you plan all this out and go ahead to organizing your closet, give your wardrobe a much needed detox. Sort out your belongings in three categories of “New”, “In use”, “Give away or sell” and “Trash”. Now, don’t be afraid to do this, until you make space and let go of things, new things won’t enter in your life. Throw away all the things that are faded or stained beyond repair or which are torn, sell things that you have worn too many times or grown out of or don’t like anymore but are in good condition which includes everything from shoes, jewellery to clothes. You can sell them on Instagram or give away to your friends or in family or have a small sale in your house or yard.

Shop

Almost every piece that I have can be paired together in any combination. This is the part we all love. After all this is done, you new wardrobe is set, make a list of all the things you need. Do not buy things you don’t need or won’t wear, when you buy jewellery it is important to know your need and how much will you use it. Also stock for the next season as you realize what all you need in the coming time like maybe boots or a sweater or a blazer. If you wear formals a lot like I do, try to have as many combinations as possible so that you don’t repeat your outfit too quickly.
